Hey I have purchased an MBox that runs with Pro Tools LE. When I record audio tracks sometimes it stops everything it is doing and sends a message saying "The operating system held off interrupts for too long. If this occurs often, try increasing the 'H/W Buffer Size' in the Playback Engine Dialog. (-9094)" I have increased the H/W Buffer Size but it doesn't seem to be taking care of the problem if anyone can help me out by giving me advice to get rid of this problem that would be great. Thanks.

Hey Lamirrbrook, I'm no expert, but do you have enough ram? Maybe your system is simply not fast enough? Just a thought

A good trick when recording is to pull the playback engine demands down in the prefs menu (or wherever it is) when recording. And vice versa when mixing. In other words, it's giving your comp more processing power at its relevant task.

What kind of Mac and what system specs? Are you using the internal HD or an external? What kind of external if yes? What did you set the H/W buffer size to? Have you tried another USB slot other than the one you are using? Does it happen when you unplug you're mouse (assuming it's a usb mouse)? What version of PT?

Sorry for the string of questions and no answers smile.gif
