Hi Folks,
Ok i'm fairly new to all this. I've got into using loops etc on Logic Express from Garage band and loving it with being able to change tempo with out changing pitch etc. Now i've purchased some third party loops CD and i want ot be able to do similair...ie speed tempo up and down without loosing pitch. Ok my question......

Does the apple loops utility allow you to convert 3rd party loops into apple loops and change tempo etc?

If not...what is Apple loops utility?

I'm using a Macbook Pro and Logic Express

Thanks

Yes it does, it put the file in apple Loop format and allows you to adjust the amount of slices, and to catagorizie audio.

If the CD/DVD is in .wav or .aif you can batch convert, but for the index to do the best job of catogorizing you have to enter info on each file.

Also check you Logic Manual, you can turn any audio or Midi region into an Apple Loop, with logic.
