Help With Quattro Needed!, I'm having a problem Options

After reading several messages I would like you to note that I am looking for solutions, not comments like "Quattro is a piece of crap." That's just a waste of time.

I just got Quattro with Logic Delta. I have an iMac with 1 gig ram G-3 400mhz. I followed all instructions in setting up.

I can't get any sound when running the tutorial song, neither through the internal speakers nor with headphones plugged into the mac. This is both with the quattro plugged in and unplugged.

any ideas?

Being a Cubase user this may be of little help ... But I had to specify the Quattro as my audio device in the relevent control panel. The default will be 'Apple Sound Manager' or similar. This needs to be changed to 'Quattro'. This will be found within the audio settings of your software.
I've used the Quattro on a powerbook with no problems (midi and audio) so it does work!

yeah at first I bitched a little but that was just because I was new to digital audio and how to set it up. I can now say the quattro works just dandy. Make sure your quattro asio drivers are in the logic asio drivers folder, but you probably already knew that.

just something to think about... if you do have your Quattro setup correctly... then I don't think you should get ANY audio coming from your imac internal speakers or imac headphone jack... the sound would be coming out of the monitor outputs of the Quattro and not the Imac. That is one of the best aspects of the unit... you get better sound out using its monitor outputs. So look for a headphone jack on the Quattro or consider getting some powered monitors or some type of speaker system (even use your home stereo as a friend of mine does) to hook up to the monitor outputs on Quattro and then you should hear the sound.

Yeah listen to synthetic he speaks the truth. I run my quattro out through the mixer on my four track and then into my home stereo. It's cheap and effective.
