PolderbitS sound conversion software was highly recommended to me for converting LP and cassette recordings to digital format, ie to CD or to my IPod. This software works with Microsoft only, not Mac. I'm told I can install Windows on my G4 Powerbook and PolderbitS will work.
Two questions: anyone know of similar software for Mac OS, so I can avoid using Windows? If not, anyone know the likely outcome of installing Windows on a Mac?
Are other solutions available aside from the above options? I have a collection of LPs and cassettes from the 60's forward I want to preserve and make more readily available to me.
