Intuitive Songwriting Software Options

Hi,
I'm looking for an intuitive software that will let me write songs -- hopefully with both midi and audio capability, but only midi would be ok for a really intuitive one. I currently work with a friend who uses dp3 which I think is a fantastic production tool but too complicated for my needs. Much thank s for any info you can give me.

For just Midi, how about Intuem? Check out the demo at intuem.com - it's pretty cool and very easy to use, although you do need OS 10.1.2 minimum. Otherwise, check out the rest of the posts on this sort of topic. There have been quite a few lately along these lines, most of which should give you lots of info on the many solutions available to you. Happy hunting!
