I had read a few articles and wonder how would it be...? On paper sounds wonderful, a device made for mac and particularly for Logic Pro...! Any of you know about availability and/or price...?

I test it at the NAMM show. It has the looks. About to be released in Feb., it has four mic pre-amps based on the mini-Me mic pre. As far as I could hear (it was noisy around me) they sound good. You can push 75dB of gain on each. The price is going to be about $2000. And though it was made to work with Logic it can be used with any software that supports apogee's Maestro routing like Digital Performer. What caught my attention is that all pre amps and other settings can be controlled with the rotary pots on the front panel. For example you can push the one on the left to select the preamps 1-4; once a preamp is selected you can rotate it to set the volume. This can be good or it can be bad. There's something comforting about knowing you are rotating the potentiometer of the preamp directly. Then again, Apogee is such a great company you'd expect they ensured these pots work great. Anyway, let me know if you have more specific question. If I know the answer I'll be glad to share.

Well thanks Voniato, You have a lot of detail about that device. All I know so far is that it will cost around $ 1.700, but we better keep an eye on it ´cause of the operation and the new intel macs...May be it is a OO1 de Luxe....?! Thanks for sharing.
