Hey Mac-Dee,
The powerbook (if it is the new Aluminum) has a single DVI out so you can connect a single monitor to it, but you would still be able to use the built in LCD display as well. I have a similar set up with PowerBook Al and a 23" cinema display and have found it to be a great combination. If your G4 PowerBook is a Ti book you will have a single VGA output and would need to get a VGA -> DVI adapter to use one of the cinema displays, such as: DVI Female to VGA Male Adapter Again, this will give you two monitors, the built in 15" LCD and the external cinema display. no worries. best of luck with the set up. the dual monitor option definitely makes Logic, DP, etc so much easier to work with when using multiple windows.
cheers. austin, the third coast. ;-) -------------------- |
