Hello, everyone. I haven't posted in a while. I've been working through the begginers manual in logic. I can say this has been a great introduction into software-based recording. I would highly recommend logic to anyone intersested in this type of format. I've only encountered one problem in the past three weeks... When I opened a prieviously recorded session last night I encountered a "sample rate not recognized" message. When I played back my tracks, they all played faster and at a higher pitch. After a few moments, a second message read "unable to synch audio and midi files". I checked all core audio and midi settings, nothing was changed. I eventualy deleted the session and shut down the computer for the night. When I returned today the problem was resolved(the problem effected all other documents icluding the tutorial). Now that the problem's solved i'm wondering if anyone can suggest how I can avoid it in the future. I was running a decent amount of software instruments and plugins on this particular session but all previously recorded session were effected as well. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!

i used to get that sometimes in logic 6.4 when using it with my Mbox. I would be when the audio interface has gone screwy (which hapened a lot with the Mbox) - however i would not get any fun vari-speed playback - just nothing.

Sometimes when computers go to sleep they loose contact with your audio interface, recycling power will usally reset you interface.
