Basically it doesn't look as though it's reading my soundcard.

1 of the answers Logic says if i can't hear anything is to....Ensure that the correct driver is selected.
I pnly have 1 option in the driver which is "built in audio"

Any ideas?

can you be more specific about the process you go through to arrive at no sound?

For example:

1. Launch Logic
2. import an audio file
3. place it in an audio track
4. press play

that kinda thing. It might help us diagnose what could be wrong.

best of luck

Check the Audio Midi setup utility, located in the utilities folder, and see if you can select your interface from there.

If you loaded drivers from a CD, chances are that there are newer drivers at the interface makers website.

When i was using my old logic in os 9 i selected audiowerk in the audio setup.

I have just downloaded Audiowerk 8 for my osx as the only option in my driver of Logic was built in audio. Now that i have downloaded audiowerk 8 i have selected it in the driver of Logic but i still have no sound!!!Urghh i'm pulling my hair out.

A friend of mine said that perhaps my sound card isn't compatible in osx, would this be right?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
