Hi guys, im a newbie to the forum, just like to say HELLO
 Right, im gonna be buying a Powerbook in around 5 hours with the following spec: PowerPC G4 Processor 1.5GHz 167 MHz FSB 512Kb cache 512Mb RAM 60Gb Hard Drive Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" 64Mb nVidia Geforce Go 5200 graphics Two questions, would this be ok to Run Reason 3.0 / Logic etc (with a lot of plugins) and... is this cheap @ £1,049 ?? Hope to hear from you soon

Hello and welcome.
You'll be able to run Logic and Reason, can't say what you consider being a lot of plug-ins. With NVIDIA graphics card it's a 12" model, it's not cheap but the price is about right if it's a brand new machine from Apple Store. GPB 1049 = EUR 1542, in my country's Apple Store a new 12" combo-drive PB costs EUR 1549 and the 12" superdrive model is EUR 1759, but I know they're cheaper in some other countries' stores. |
