No Audio Out Of Logic 6.3.1 Or Logic 7 Express Options

Hi, I dont see anyone else with this problem, Ive searched but nothing, so here it is:

I have a G4 laptop that Ive used with Logic 6.3.1. and an EMI 6|2 audio card/box (now called A62 m) using os x 10.4.1. Ive just bought a 2nd hand G4 and installed Logic on that but it crashes when I try to get it to use the A62 m.

SO! Ive installed Logic 7 Express (to see if this is a problem specific to running logic 6.3.1 on OSx10.4) and still Ive got the same issue! I can not get audio out (again,using the A62 m) on this mac YET iTunes and Quicktime work perfectly so I know its something to do with Logic.

My Mac spec is
OSX 10.4.1
Dual 1Ghz Power PC G4 (2.1)
2MB L3 cache per processor
1GB SDRAM
70gb Hard Drive
Bus Speed 133 Mhz

OK, bit of tinkering here and there and Logic & works. Then try Logic 6.3.1 and it doesnt crash, and it actually works! load Space Designer and it STILL WORKS!!!

so there was somthing in Logic 7 that fixed the audio unit issue I had with Logic 6.3.1. Sorry guys and gals, I have no idea why and what happend to fix it other than a new insall of Logic 7 express.
