Bought a Radium 49 midi controller. Read the book (pdf) that came with it... not that descriptive. Does any one know of a good book or ressource site (other than M-audio?
The main thing that I'me trying to do is allocate a sound that I record with my micrphone. Thanks p.s. running it with Garage band and Logic Express 7. -------------------- MicroT

Not sure what you're trying to do here, Groove75.
A MIDI controller won't do much to an AUDIO track, apart from perhaps sending MIDI commands to your sequencing software. There should be a 'control surface template' for LE7 available somewhere. Try John Pitcairn's website. |

What I mean is that I'm trying to understand what all of the knobs and buttons do.
Thanks -------------------- MicroT

They'll control the sending of MIDI commands to your software and hardware, depending on your setup. For example, you can send start and stop commands to your sequencer, control pan and volume, whatever from your Radium keyboard, rather then using the computer keyboard and mouse.
You can design your own control template, usually, or load a stock one. Most software DAWs are covered these days. |
