Sonnet G4 And M-audio Fw Options

Hi,

M-Audio firewire interfaces is not supposed to work with G4 accelerators. Have anyone got them to work with Sonnet encore accelerators?

We use a G4 400 MHz with a 1,2 GHz Sonnet Encore. Will it work with M-audio FW?

I have the same problem. I have a G4/450 AGP Graphics upgraded with a Sonnet ST/Encore 1,4Ghz.
The salesman suggested me a Delta 66 but after having read out the specs i realized that M-AUDIO cards don't support G3/G4 accelerators.

I wrote to M-AUDIO and I'm waiting for a reply.

We have seen mixed results with accelerator cards, and there are too
many for us to test all of them. It will most likely be fine with your
system, especially since your computer was close to the minimum
requirements before the upgrade. Just make sure the reseller has a fair
return policy in case there are any issue.
