Can anyone help with a problem were having with a G5 and Logic 6.4. Sometimes when we click on the audio window to edit a sample - the window opens as a blank window. Occasionally cofusing it by changing screen sets will fix it, but often nothing works.
Any thoughts gratefully received.

G5
Logic 6.4.2

You say "we". Are you using Logic in a networked system? Are you accessing your files through a network or off a local drive. Logic won't work properly on a networked system. You'll need to either put the files on the hard drive of the computer (not recommended) or an external HD (recommended) to work on them then save to the network. It's a drag but it will work.

No it was 'we' because there are a few of us in the studio. We do have 3 Macs networked but all the audio streams from 8 or 9 external FireWire drives directly into the G5.
Someone has told us that it's a memory problem. We run the Vienna Strings a lot and they are very greedy with memory.
We're trying more RAM.
Cheers for your suggestions.
