Two questions.... Are the ibooks powereful and equipped enough for me to run Logic Pro 7.0 mainly to do roughs of tracks to come back home to 1.8 dual?

HI Dreadman I don't know the answer, but did you manage to find out? I have just acquired a 1.25 gig G4 powerbook. Do you know if it candle handle logic pro- actually thinking of getting 6.

I haven't made purchase of the laptop as of yet and no one has answered me until you.
 And now there are roomers of a G5 powerbook. So I think I'm going to do more research.

the iBook will be fine, with a fast external drive.
You can install Logic on both machines, and move to XSKey to the machine you are using. the only way to get another key is to purchase Logic again.

There are rumors of G5 powerbooks, or G4 double core, apple should release a new line but when is a question. Can't be far away… (ibooks are too close performance wise) Yet nothing is sure.
you can still wait a littlle, but if you NEED the computer, go to the shop and buy.
