Hello Fam! If I could get some advice from all of you I would greatly appreciate each one of you! My budget is 6,000 dollars.

I'm trying to set up a studio to record Hip Hop vocals. I have someone to mix and master. We just want the ability to record good quality clean vocals to send off for mixing and mastering. This will help us lay down ideas for future albums and mixtapes.

The gear I have:
ProToolsLE software (have the MBox but want to upgrade)
Audio Technics mic (forgot model number but it costs @ $300)
Emu-MP7 sequencer
Akai MPC-2000xl sampler/sequencer
M-Audio Radium61

The gear I have questions about:
Monitors - Whats good for hip hop and would fit into my budget?

Preamp - Should I go with Digi-002 Rack or does another brand offer something better that fits into my overall budget of $5,000)

Tube Preamp - Is this a must have for quality? I heard it really helps the sound

G4 or G5? - For the future most programs are optimized for the G5. Would it be better to plan ahead and drop the extra money for a G5?

Again, I'm stressing excellence in quality so give me what will work nice to produce a good clean signal for the raw vocals. Someone else will be mixing and mastering. Thanks for reading this and responding!

Much Love.
