Its more than likely that Sharp (like Sony) do not support Mac OS and only supply software etc for use with Microsoft

Its a pain in the arse, maybe you should have bought a Microsoft PC... oh yeah I forgot, Microsoft PCs are crap aren't they...

this could work - but it's a little bit wierd i think...
what if you use "virtualPC" - its a winPC emulator for mac...
or if there is any share- or free-ware emulator...

anyone tried yet?

You could always do it an old school way, by recording onto the MD recorder with the audio-out port of your Mac.

Yeah but that takes fuckin ages (60 minutes recording time for each hour of music) and you can't do anything with your mac while you are recording, like making music or anything that involves using sound for that matter.

I'd buy an iPod.

I went through same hassles with my MD player... I used it with my digital mixer to record demos and live shows. I had to route outputs from my Digi001 to my mixer and then record from my mixer to get tracks on the MD which was a PITA.

I like most Sony stuff but there reluctance to ever support Mac OS has me loking at other brands for many things now. cool.gif
