Mac with Echo Darla?, How do I get my 9.X OS to play through my Echo Darla?

Newbie Groupe : Members Messages : 4 Inscrit : 18 juin 02 Membre n^o 5,147	Hi all... Just got a mac to do music production - I finally made the switch from a PC. I've got an Echo Darla card I'd like to use, but can only seem to get certain programs to find the card by placing the ASIO drivers in the appropriate folder. Advanced Member Groupe : Members Messages : 393 Inscrit : 11 juin 02 Lieu : London - UK Membre n^o 5,044	it's as simple as that, if placing the driver in the application's asio driver folder within the application's folder and selecting it in the sound control panel dosen't work, it's either not asio compliant (in which case it's documentation will give you specific information on this subject) or it just isn't 'gonna work until they release an update to support your card ! which apps aren't working ? -------------------- one for all and all for one...

When I install the card with windows, there's an option in the OS to use the card for all programs, as a system sound card. Is there any way to do this with the Mac? Thanks! Chris

I only have one option for sound, and that's the system's audio card. I can put ASIO drivers in my ReCycle ASIO folder, and the card works just fine, but I can not choose this card as a system sound card. Is there a place I can put the ASIO files so the OS reads them? Thanks for your patience and help! Chris
