Hi All,
I have a Mac and a Apogee Rosetta 800 with firewire card and Logic 7. I want a straightforward solution for monitoring without latency. Anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance Dave Hage Conehead Music Ltd |

If you mean input to output latency, the rosetta should allow you (if the firewirewire driver is well written) to have a 3-4ms latency, which is near real-time. To get a better latency, i'm afraid you had to buy a TDM protools card.
You also have to set the Logic Audio buffer size to the minimun size if you want to get the best latency... As i dont use logic since 2 years, i cant tell you exatly where it is, but somewhere like 'audio preferences'.... HTH -------------------- Soif, MacMusic Webmaster
