Inconsistent Sound Output, sometimes built-in, sometimes external

Member Groupe : Members Messages : 69 Inscrit : 26 sept. 03 Lieu : Toronto - CA Membre n^o 25,510	i've got a problem with my sound output... itunes and all my music/audio software uses my echo mia sound card, but safari (and i.e.) as well as software cd's use the built-in sound... my preferences have my mia as my output, but no matter what, these two things keep using the mac speaker... any suggestions? i just did a clean install to bring me back to 10.3.2 since i did some research and found that others had similar problems with 10.3.5, but the problem persists... thanks for all your help.
