I am using the DR-verb demo in Peak 3.0 LE on a Mac 7500 w/ Newer Tech G3/400 card with 128MB ram. I have alloted 100mb to Peak, and do not run other apps simultaneously. I am running OS 9.0

The problem is that regradless of configuration the processor is usually indicating over 75%. I tried the suggested 'fixes' for that (turning of full reverb, eq, etc.) but no improvement to speak of. I really like the sound of this plugin (what I can hear), but there is an almost constant clicking-- about 3 clicks per second. I am hesitant to buy this at this point. I suspect that this is directly related to the processor workload.

I also tried contacting the author and Polyfractus, but both eamils were kicked back.

Ideas, anyone?

Hello.
Does other plugs (cpu intense) do the same thing?
I have hundred DR-Verb users, never heard about this.
On my old G3-350 DR-Verb use about 20% / 23% of CPU.
Can you tell me more about this?
Regards

The only other plugin I use is the Bias Freq-2, and not at the same time as the DR-Verb. I do only classical editing.

This would be easier if you contact me privately:

Merci
