FWx FireWire Record/Playback Option
The FWx card provides a direct FireWire connection to record or playback up to 18 tracks simultaneously using a Pro Tools LE system on Windows XP (32 track expansion available in 2005).For recording applications, this approach keeps the signal in the digital domain from the time it was first captured in the Stage Rack input. The resulting recording is a native Pro Tools LE session, ready for editing or review after the show is over by connecting a portable Digidesign Mbox, Digi 002, or Digi 002 Rack peripheral.

The resulting recording is a native Pro Tools TDM session, ready to be taken to the studio for detailed editing, processing, and mixdown.
