Howdy folks.

I'm running off of a new ibook g4 with an Mbox and a midisport 4x4 using protools. My problem is that I cannot seem to figure out how to make the computer make sound out of the midi message I am sending. I read around to find a solution to this on the fourms, and apparently the answer is to use "Quicktime Instruments". The problem is, though, that I am new to all this and don't know how to do this through Pro Tools. I am using a wind synth as my midi controller, and a midi utility has verified that it is sending my computer the message ok. The problem with this, though, is that my synth (yamaha wt11) doesn't support multiple voices, so playback through that isn't going to happen. Can someone explain to me how to make Pro Tools and the quicktime instruments jive?
Thanks,
Jeremy

By the way, Garage Band does this no problem. As soon as I make the track and blow into the wind synth, I get a piano sound through the ibooks speakers (although I would like to figure out how to make that go through the Mbox, but that's something else all together.....)
Thanks again in advance
