When I turn on the FF, the red HOST light only stays lit for about 4 seconds.
I successfully installed the long awaited Mac driver on my G5, successfully updated the firmware, and checked the firewire cable connections.
Thereafter, any attempt to setup any connection or communication with the FF through Cubase SX2.01 causes Cubase to hang up so badly I have to force quit.
Suggestions?

Mhmm…

- on the mac side: unplug the mains, the cables from the G5, open it and reset the motherboard. (take the battery out and press the tiny button near it about 20 seconds)
- Software side: check all options in cubase and in audio midi setup, eventually change them.
- on the RME side, if it as a initialization procedure, do it. Also try the re do the update in case it wasn't really perfect.

That's all I can see… unsure.gif
