Copy the preferences over to another folder first and then trash the original prefs, that way you have backup. All you will need to do is go through and set up all the midi/audio settings again. I had this problem with a Kontakt file the other night, every time I went to save it, the mac froze, it was a fecked up file basically. You could always try Norton or something on it. Try also backing the file up and try on a friends mac? Always, always, always back up whatever and whenever (I do this to CDRW)

Hope that was helpful?

What about this: check all your individual audio files with another player. If they're OK, temporarily disable ALL the VST plugins by moving them to another folder. Maybe it is a corrupt plugin?
