Does anyone know if the Griffin Powermate can be set to control the volume in the Digidesign Core Audio Driver? I have an MBox running on OSX 10.3.5 and am ready to purchase a pair of KRK V8 monitors. I would like to connect the MBox directly to the V8's without having to put any hardware (Mackie Big Knob, etc.) in between to keep the signal as pure as possible. Any other suggestions would be welcome as well. Thanks in advance.
