I was wondering how much latency there with the Mbox. Is it a big deal? Especially with recording vocals, and is there a way around it?
I have a G4 Ti 1Ghz running OSX and want to record guitar and vocal tracks. I'm not interested in MIDI at the present. I'm trying to deiced between the Mbox and a far more simple DAW (Tascam US-122). I know the Mbox comes with PTLE, which from what I've heard is easier to learn. The US-122 comes with a limited version of Cubasis...from what I've read most folks don't like.
Mbox Latency Issues?, just kicking the tires
