Upgrage Help, os 8.6 to os 9.2.2 with PT 5.1.1 Options

I am upgrading from and old Mac to a G4 but am having problems with Pro Tools Init jamming up when the os loads.

Anyone who has this configuration, tell me their's works?

G4 450Mhz
pro tools 5.1.1
os 9.2.2

I'm running OS9.2 on a G4 400 and run Pro Tools free no problem. I run Cubase 5.1 as my main app but have been playing around with Pro Tools free and it seems to run fine. If you're going from 8.6 to 9.2 u may need to update your firmware and maybe u need to do a full clean install (wipe your drive and start fresh). hope this helps

Thanks mate.It seems that maybe my mix core card is gone! the pro tools system never gets past the digi init. Have tried everything, even switiching to another G4.

Guess its time to upgade to HD1.

Pro Tools free uses the core system but mine relies on a sound card.
