Tascam Us-122...anyone Used It?, looking at options Options

Hi all,

I'm just jumping into the digital recording thing myself. I have a G4 Ti 1Ghz. I'm looking for something simple and have found the Tascam US-122. I just want to lay down an acoustic guitar track and add a vocals for the sake of song writing. I was wondering if anyone has played with the US-122. My biggest worry is the latency issues with a USB device. I'm also looking at M-Audio's Duo. I would love to go for the Digi MBox, but that's out of my budget and expertise for the time being. Any suggestions?
