I'm really a novice at this. I'm "trying" to use Logic Express 7.2.0
Could you please explain "exactly" how I would delete the first measure, or any measure, of a song.
I looked in the manual and i couldn't find it.
Thanks.

Here's how you can do it in Logic Express 8 and I imagine it would be the same in LE 7:

First, select the marquee tool, then click and drag to select whatever tracks in whatever measure you desire, then hit your delete key. You will probably get a window asking you how you want to deal with any notes that will be cut off. Click on split, shorten, or keep and you're in business.

Hello,
(i'm trying to speak English, please excuse my mistakes!)

My question is about deleting some midi notes, with the keyboard (piano), in real time, in a sequencer.

For example, if the sequence is "A-A-A-A" : 4 notes.
To delete only the third,
i would (re)play it after the 2nd,
holding during the earing of the 3rd,
and stop before the 4th, and it's done, the sequence became "A-A- -A"

I would like to do this in Logic Studio but this function doesn't exist (in real time) or i can't see how to create it with the "transformateur" programmation.

On the Korg M1 synth, it was possible to delete some notes by playing them again in an easy specific recording mode : the one i'm searching for to use it again !

Thank you,
Tony
