Here's what I have: Powerbook G4 667 with V-stack software as VST host, Behringer FCB1010 foot controller, MidiSport 1x1...
What I'm trying to set up is a system where I can change sounds/channels with the Behringer on the fly. I have a few different locations where I play live with a group, and each have a suitable MIDI keyboard that I would just like to play and use as a "slave" to the system, which would generate the sounds via VSTs. At this point, I'm not even sure how I need to connect the MIDI stuff, and beyond that, wade through programming the Behringer. Any help you can provide would be appreciated...even if it's just someplace to visit on the Web or call and ask some real newbie questions. |
