I use Sibelius 3 to arrange music for drum corps and marching bands. I'm looking to get a keyboard to faster input things and get better sound then quicktime midi. I looking for suggestions on what keyboard to get and what else I'd need to connect to my powerbook.

as well as a keyboard, you'll need some sort of midi interface. You really can't go wrong with the top of the line offereings from the big 4, Roland, Korg, Yamaha, and Kurzweil. The Alesis QS series are a good bang for the buck keyboard. Good sounds with some very cool midi controller features. It really depends on your budget, and what features you need.

I thinking about getting the radium 61 from m-audio. That has a built in midi interface. Then get the kontakt gold player for sibelius for better sounds. Will that work? I'm under a real tight budget so 350 is about all I can afford.
