i have to confess, i'm confused by your language. are you trying to get DP to use the O1V as a midi interface? is it failing to output audio?

in the first instance, i believe the mixer will accept control, but not function as an interface. it's been a while since we had one here, though.

in the second instance, we're looking at the wrong screen...
more data please.
good luck.

i think you can control the o1v via midi. think of it as a normal midi device, like a keyboard. you'd have to connect the midi out from your interface to the midi in of the keyboard. the o1v is not in direct communication with your computer. you've got to patch it to your interface. then you'll see it as a midi track destination.
i think that's right, though it's been 10 years or so since i've had an o1v in my studio, and i never used midi to send patch changes.

DC here!

The Yamaha 01V can be connected to your MIDI inteface like any other MIDI equipment..
I will accept midi info - i.e. - you can move the faders upp and down
and the pan etc will work just fine -
either from 01V pr from DP.

I could NOT get the midi transport control i.e. -->
start stop, recording working this way --> not a big issue for me.
I have the earliest model og the Yamaha 01v mixer.
01V96 may have better midi implementation.

Cheers: Dixiechicken!
