Hi guys, I've bought Logic pro and I have it on my powermac. I need to buy a laptop andinstall it on that. Is that also possible? Do I need to re-buy Logic pro (because there's a dongle) or can I transfer the dongle between machines? Also is there anything I need to check when I buy my laptop; processor speed etc.? I don't know much about computers so I'm not sure about this stuff and often I buy the wrong thing! Thanks for your time and help, Jenny.
Hi guys, I'm trying to record my keyboard as an audio instrument rather than as an audio track but it doesn't seem to be recording. I can hear the keybaord and it records fine as an audio instrument but I can't work out why it won't record the other way. I've basically plugged it in, chosen an audio instrument track, picked the sampler EXS24 and pressed record. I can write notes in and hear them back but not play them in? Any ideas? Jen.
Ok Logic's bearly working at all now...with hardly any plug ins/audio
I keep getting a crash message;
Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple.
Please let there be something other than having to reinstall logic.....could I have a virus or something?
Jenny.
Hi boys, Logic keeps crashing. I've got a G5 dual processor power mac. I'm trying to play a song that has lots of audio and plug ins etc. but everytime it crashes as soon as it starts playing. Have I got the settings wrong? I wasn't sure how I should have the buffer settings and whether I should be chaning these for recording and then again for playback? I've tried playing around with these but I'm not sure what I'm doing and if this is even what I should be doing? Just read another post...should I buy an external hard drive?
Any ideas?
Jen.
I'm a bit of a computer novice. I've got Logic pro 7 and am trying to use my keyboard to create midi stuff. I've got the keyboard plugged into my interface and my interface plugged into the computer. I've checked that sound in and out is selected to my sound card and have checked all the leads are in the right place. Logic just doesn't seem to see my keyboard. I know this is probably a really simple question but it's driving me mad! I would really appreciate anyones help.
Thanks Jen.
