Hi Everyone,
I have just bought a Roland MC-303 but it didn't come with a manual. I have figured out how to do a load of stuff already but need to get my hands on some detailed information so I can get the most out of it.
Does anyone know of any where I can download a PDF of the user manual or any online help files or forums?
Any help would be great (especially regarding how to hook it up to my PowerBook).
Thanks
I have been making music for a while now and I have started to dapple in drum and bass producing (things like Omni Trio, LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity etc)
I don't have any problems where the drums are concerned (I started in music 10 years ago playing drums) but my bass lines really could do with some work... they tend to be a little "samey" and I need to figure out how to introduce some variation in to my tunes and as you guys have been so helpful in the past I was wondering if anyone would like to share their hints, tips or tricks to help me along with the bass lines?
cheers!
Ok, can any one tell me what will happen if I insert the install CD for my PowerBook, hold down C and restart my computer?
Will my hardrive be wiped?
Here is some background:
I have a gig on thursday night (at the Trafalgar Hilton if you fancy it: its £20 per drink by the way!)
But my PowerBook is screwed. When ever I open any Audio Applications after 20 minutes I get a loud fuzzing noise (quite like the noise you get when you use demo soft synths and the like) but the noise is relentless and only stops if you close the audio apps and restart them. Obviously I cant do this twice in my set as that would really suck.
I have tried repairing permissions (thanks Lepetitmartien) but unfortunately this didn't work. Apple told me to do the install, hold down C thing but I am worried that my whole harddrive will get deleted!
Can anyone help???
Sorry if this post is in the wrong forum but I'm stumped! Some one emailed me the answer to an internal sound card problem I was having (thanks Aireckzoser!) but does anyone know how to do this: QUOTE "That sound is coming from your powerbook, 9 times out of 10 you have the black Powerbook, I had that problem before, and I found out that it was the OSX OS, to get rid of the sound you have to reinstall your hold Operating system so I hope you have OSX install CD.
The Problem came from trying to run a standalone VSTi using your internal soundcard at 16bit." Also please please help: if I do the above, will I lose everything on my computer???
Hi Everyone.
For the last couple of days when I have been using Reason, the audio has been cutting out after 20mins of use and I get a really loud, speaker shaking distortion/fuzzing noise! There is no way to mute the noise and I have to restart (no error message or anything!)
Does anyone know what this is??? I purchased the software a few months ago and it is registered with Propellor Head website. No rewire applications are running, just Reason.
I have re-installed by deleting the Reason application icon in the Reason folder and then installing the program disk but the problem is still happening!
Does anyone know what is going on???
Thanks in advance!
