Does anybody have this PCI card installed on their mac? If so, is it worth the $1200 price tag? What are the advantages of the card?
Once I downloaded user patches for the Boss GT-6, how do install them?
Is it worth the money buying the Boss GT-8 multi-effect processor or do I buy a few Boss pedals? Is there a difference in the sound reproduction between the two? I don't play live, just record at home. I just sold the Boss GT-6 in hopes of buying the GT-8. After some reviews that said the sound reproduction is better on individual pedals, now I am not sure what to buy. Any advice?

Is there a difference between Logic Express and Logic Express Academic. With my student discount I can get Logic Express Academic for $150, or I can get Logic Pro 7 Academic for $499. What makes the Academic different than regular retail?
