Hi I have Cubase SX 3 on a G4 FW800 Dual 1.42 and I have a Beige G3 with a G4 Processor at 500 Mhz with Cubase Vst 32. I have a Firepod connected to the G4, and a Roland VM3100 pro connected to the Beige G3. I am curious about using VST system link. I want to know has anyone used VST System Link, or uses it currently, and could anyone offer any help and suggestions on using it, and connecting two computers?
Thanks! TB
I have 2 Motu Midi Timepiece AVs both are serial connections, has anyone used the MTPAV with a serial to USB converter? I know the best thing to do is to buy a USB MTPAV and use it that way.
I have a G4 FW800 dual 1.42 Ghz, with Cubase SX3. Also a Biege G3 with G4 processor upgrade using Cubase VST32. Does anyone know how to connect the two with VST link from Cubase SX3? Can I use the G4 and Beige G3 together with both Cubase SX3 and Cubase VST32 together?
Thanks for any help!
TB
I have been trying to setup my Roland VM3100 Pro to control Cubase VST 32 using the generic remote edit. I can see midi activity when I press the play, stop, FF and rewind buttons. But nothing happens. Not too sure if I got the settings right, for instance Midi Channel, Address, and Max. Value. Not sure what to set these to. The Learn function does not seem to work. Also should Flags be set to receive or transmit? I could use some helpin this matter. The VM3100 Pro is set to use with Cubase VST and the settings can be easily changed to adapt to Cubase VST 32.[COLOR=blue][B]

I have Cubase Vst 5/32 and it all of sudden won't open. I recently went back to using OS 9.1, after trying OS 10.2.4. Cubase was working fine just before I tried changing or optimizing my system for Cubase. Then today I tried to open Cubase and it started to load and froze. I reinstalled Cubase and still did the same thing. Just sat there as if it was going open. I have a G4 433Mhz with 768 megs of Ram 80 gig HD internal and 40 gig internal HD. With OS 9.1 installed.
Hope someone could help with this problem! I have enjoyed using this version of Cubase. I have some projects I need to finish and I can't do anything until I can get this program up and running again!
Thanks!
