I am fairly new to mastering. I am trying out the L3 Multimaximizer. If anyone has any tips, I would greatly appreciate them.

It's pretty straightforward, just go with the presets that are suitable for you, like 16 bit moderate limiting if you're going for a 16-bit audio like CD.
Use your ears. Don't overdo it - only reduce a couple of dBs at max. If you need more boost, use a (multi)compressor before L3 in the chain. |
