Hi,

I know this isn't a specific audio question, but i've usually received pretty good advice on my previous posts so i thought someone might be able to help.
I have recently installed some AU waves plug-ins that crash Final Cut during start up, I read on the support pages that the only way to remedy this problem is to remove the AU's from the plug-ins component folder.
I regularly use both logic Pro 7 and Final Cut Pro, this doesnt really seem to me as much of a solution if everytime i work between programs i need to be costantly moving components around my hard drive.

Is there another solution?
Is it possible to change the folder Final Cut access' Audio Units from?

Thanks

by the grace of our very own macmusic, i remember seeing an app that will fix your problem..

http://www.macmusic.org/softs/version.php/...ang/EN/id/3648/

so with this, just turn off the audio units that are crashing final cut through this program and leave all plug ins enabled for logic and you should be set

Thanks very much, it works great.

Shame Apple never considered coming up with anything like this.
