[quote name='Vitrieyanx' date='lun. 30 nov. 2015, 22:37'] If you're willing to make a small saiicfrce now for a bigger payoff down the road this is what you should do. Put together a really clean portfolio of your work. If at all possible try to have some diversity so that people can see that you can do more than just one thing (And remember not everyone is looking for Pixar's next super-animator. You are probably more critical of your own work than others would be). The more options a person has the more comfortable they'll feel.Next, find a business that uses artless, tasteless, low grade graphics for their advertisements and/or company logos. Offer to revamp their current layouts for free if the cost is very low or tell them that you'll do it at cost. This way you can build a resume by working for real companies. My brother made an add for an energy drink company that looked like it would have been approved by George Lucas himself. For all we know that company has already gone bankrupt, but when you look at the add it looks like it came from a multi-million dollar company. And that's the great thing about you making the graphics. You could make a company logo/advertisement for the local laundry-mat and anybody looking at your work wouldn't even have any idea that it's a rat infested s#%t hole because all their going to be thinking is Damn! This is nice logo/advertisement! You can offer to do the same for clubs, bars, restaurants, raves/d.j.s-whatever.Now, I realize that you may have bigger dreams than making company logos for the local businesses but it's a start, it'll keep you busy, and since the possibilities are endless when it comes to graphic design you can show people that you can do a lot with a little.
