Well well well…

FIRST YOU SHOUT!!!!

SECOND FREE music is usually PIRATE music. PIRATE is a NO-NO HERE.
This site is full of musicians, people who work with them, who just love them, and developers, think a bit about it.

THIRD a bit of wub.gif is always better than an mouthfull of angry.gif

now I can release the shift key cool.gif and if you have a sensible question asked politely I can answer…

Try downloading some demos. If you like one, buy it.

When you mean free music source i'm hoping you mean freeware software to help you get started. If that's so then try
Musyz 1.1 VST sequencer (usually given away with 'computer music' magazine) plus you get a number of their really cool soft synthes.
You can record audio through Cacophony (pre loaded)
Convert audio using 'Soundappliance' or 'Audacity'
Generate your own unique sounds and loops using Soundhack and Cloud Generator
Drum rhythms can be created through Virtual Drummer before being mashed about in your sequencer and synthe.
And your finished work can be heard and burned onto disc via iTunes.
Be imaginative and you'll wonder why anyone needs to spend hundreds of pounds on expensive VST.
Most of the above are available via www.download.com

If you have any luck with OMS on your eMac let me know!
