hi everyone,
I wasn't sure wether I should post this in the mac or pc section, but here it is

I'm running protools on my macbook pro (core 2 duo 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM) in windows, and it's really bad (needs very large playback buffer size, and stops playback very often when when moving parameters in plugins...)
I've read that it was better to turn off multi threading... but since my laptop is a Mac there's no BIOS !!

Does anyone knows how I can turn multi threading off in a macbook pro ?

Thanks a lot guys!

Generally you would not want turn off multi-threading since that is one of the things that makes a modern computer so much faster.

You are using bootcamp right?

Maybe you should look into getting a Mac license for Protools.

but anyway, No, there is no way. afaik
