You can drag the MIDI file to the chunk window. or
You can hilite the MIDI file, then hit command+I , and choose 'Open with' DP. |

Yes, you can set the default program to open any file by:
Press "Command (Apple) I" > "Open With" > Select Application > "Change All". You can also open any file with a selected application by Control-Clicking the file and follwoing the "Open With..." dialogue. The only thing to watch for is that you don't do anything silly like setting Text Edit as the default app to open QuickTime movies. -------------------- www.myspace.com/commercialmusicstudios

I notice the " hit command+I , and choose 'Open with' DP" suggestion. Will this work on a Mac? Do you have a cracked version? DP only works on Mac. Thanks, I knows this; I thought you did. I tried your suggested method, but no success. Has this method proven been proven? |

just checked, Open from the file menu works fine for standard midi. No need to import. Drag and drop also works.

I tried your suggested method, but no success. Has this method proven been proven? Yes, this has been a basic Mac feature since...., oh I don't remember, it's a long time ago. Let me ask you this: Did you download that MIDI file with Safari? There's some problem with Safari, if you did. Use Firefox or something else for downloading MIDI files to be used on DP. |
