I'm totally new to this stuff so if I ask something stupid, don't laugh. I want to start to record some of my own guitar stuff through a M-Audio MobilePre USB and into DP4. But just electric guitar sounds a little boring so I would like to back the guitar up with drums and strings for example. Do you guys have any tips what programs would be good for that? I have absolutely no clue with all those software synthesizers and plug-ins. Also, how would I control those synthesizers and plug-ins then? Would I have to buy an Oxygen 8 or something like that? Oh yeah, I'm using a G4 Powerbook and OSX. Thx!
