I've read advice on here about partitioning, but I'm not sure if I understand sufficiently well for my case.
Also, while I can still get everything from my external 80G FW Ice HD onto the internal 20G HD of my ibook, I'd like to tidy up and start afresh.
How do you think I should partition the various disks, if at all?
For the moment, I've got a 20G/60G partition on the Ice. The 20G Ice partition has an OS9 on it and backs up the ibook. The 60G partition is for audio files but I did use it once for other stuff so its not "clean".
In general I'm thinking of: - Imac 233 6G for just about everything besides music - Ibook 20G for OS9 and music apps (particularly PTLE for Mbox) but it would be nice to put some other stuff on - partioned Ice: 60G for audio files, 20G for easy backup of ibook and imac
I also have an enet hub, 250M Zip disks, and of course the CD-RW.
Questions: ? Should I empty the Ice and reformat so it's nice and clean ? Should I reformat using Hard Disk SpeedTools 3.5 or Apple stuff ? Is it a bad idea to put other than audio files on the Ice ? Is it a bad idea to partition as as present ? Should I only put music apps on the ibook ? Is it a bad idea to partition the ibook and stick an OSX on one side and an OS9 on the other

Without shit, we wouldn't be here ;)
