 Powercore + Imac. Help? |

I currently use an intel imac 2ghz. Tried to install Powercore compact today -but was a niightmare. I'm pretty sure I followed the correct proceedures. Now -my mac will not even start if the powercore is plugged in. It works fine if it isn't (for now!)
There are only 2 firewire ports on the imac. I now -assuming I can get the powercore to function -have 3 firewire devices -namely the said Powercore - a Focusrite Saffire interface and a Carillion hard drive? Any suggestions -or have I just wasted £350 and put the life of my imac in jeapordy ?? Many thanks Phil |
