Which would you prefer for the price (499$ pro vs about 200$ express on ebay) and the type of computer I have (an ibook g4 that has i think 756 ram): Logic Pro or Logic Express? I would like to record good-quality songs that I plan on doing quite a bit with, not merely just some half-ass songs ideas I want to jot down. I'm on a tight budget but would spend the money for the Apple Pro but only if it's significantly better than Express - is it?

Also, what's everything think of the drum sounds/machine that either of these include? Versatile with time signatures? Realistic? Time-consuming? I've recorded with a boss BR-864 recorder and the drums sounded completely fake and were quite a hassle (I'm a guitarist trying to do this entire recording project solo, the drum sounds are at utmost importance). Any input is appreciated.
