G'day all,
I am in need of a 2 Chanel firewire audio card for my Powerbook and Imac G5 (OS x / (Tiger) . I am using FCP as well as SoundTrack. I was looking at the products from M-Audio (firewire solo and the firewire 410) but it seems that people are having a lot of problems with them. Please can someone recommend alternative products. I have am looking at the Presonus FIREBOX and also the Apogee Mini ME ($$$$$ way too expensive) and the Tascam US-122 . What are you Tiger users using? I am basically trying to get a mic connected to do voiceovers for my movie projects so I need a nice XLR input via firewire, nothing too fancy but I don't want to fry my firewire ports or have shitty sound.
