Although all this older gear works fine, and I'm happy with the audio,I'm wordering if there is a automatic way of muting the loop effect. Its sounds cool but gettin a more fat bounce into DP3(for editing wavs) and back into the Yamaha AW, the sound is not noticeably thinner, but its bugging me anyway. All my midi is coming back thru a Motu midi mixer 7s into the AW4416 as main console and recorder/burner. DP3 audio is bounced back SPDIF and saved in AW4416 tracks, which is portable. and this means the G3(366mgz) does not have to work that hard and I don't have to worry about a lot of midi glitches. Most tracks go thru 12ax7s to warm them up a bit at recording. This makes a differance in the "taped" sound of the tracks. But the SPDIF feedback loop is bugging me. Anyone's input is welcome as long as you know something about this older gear. Thanks in advance.
