Couldn't think of an acceptable title for this post, hope it's sufficient!
This weekend I recorded some music from a sound source not typical to a music studio - a Sega Dreamcast. After a great deal of rewiring cables and tweaking of knobs, I managed to get a signal into my Tascam US-122, but when I went to record the audio into DP 4.12 the sound wasn't reaching the software (I did set my Sound Input Preferences to the US-122) I did manage to get a recording using Audio Hijack Pro but DP and Pro Tools free couldn't get a signal. Now that I'm thinking about it, is an Aux track needed? This is my first time using a different sound source in this manner. The Dreamcast uses RCA outs so I had to route that through my mixer and into my US-122. Any thoughts or slaps in the face?
